A youth has gone missing in the Seti River in Pokhara since Tuesday evening.
Bhishma Raj Joshi (20), a BSc First Semester student at the Institute of Forestry of Tribhuvan University, had fallen into the gorge at around 7 pm yesterday.
A permanent resident of Attariya in Kailali district, Joshi had fallen into the River while capturing some photographs, DSP Govinda Adhikari of the District Police Office said.
He was accompanied by his hostel friend Ashok Bhandari of Chitwan. Bhandari had promptly informed the incident to the campus hostel. Then, police had swung into the search operation, but to no avail.
People visiting the site are still unsafe despite the barricade in busy hubs of the city. Police said they are looking into the case and search is underway.
