Renowned Indian Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday to conduct a five-day long Yoga camp. The camp will take place from April 24 to April 28 at Khullamanch in the Capital.
Talking to journalists upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu today, Baba Ramdev expressed his sadness for the demise of 17 Indian pilgrims in an accident that took place at Dhading on Wednesday and offered his condolences to everyone affected by the loss of lives.
The Yoga camp is being organised with the intention to raise awareness about health through Ayurvedic medium, said the organiser. The camp will also conduct the free health checkup. A team of Ayurvedic practitioners have arrived from India’s Haridwar-based Patanjali Yogpeeth for free health checkups.
In order to facilitate the Yoga campaign, founder Chairman of Non Resident Nepali (NRN), Upendra Mahato, has formed a 61-member organising committee.
