City Hall (Rastriya Sabha Griha), the venue of the 18th SAARC Summit, will host only special programmes now onwards.
Spokesperson at the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Shantaram Pokhrel, said that the KMC has been preparing to organise only special programmes by making a separate guidelines as around Rs 200 million was invested to uplift the City Hall into an international standard.
Pokhrel said that the Hall will be brought into operation soon after the government hand it over to the KMC.
The government had taken over the Hall for the SAARC Summit.
Actions will be taken against those stealing and breaking flower vessels and plants planted on the occasion of the SAARC Summit as per the public offense act, informed KMC.
