In a symbolic protest against India’s ‘undeclared blockade’, ANFSU, the student wing of ruling coalition CPN-UML, cooked Nepali traditional food ‘Gundruk’ and ‘Dhindo’ outside the gate of Indian Embassy in Lazimpat, Kathmandu on Sunday.
The leaders and cadres of ANFSU, not only cooked the foods by using firewoods, but also devoured it outside the embassy’s gate. They also chanted slogan against the restriction imposed by India to Nepal-bound freight and commodities.
“We will live on forest food, but won’t let our national pride down before India,” said ANFSU Secretary Radhika Khatiwada.
