Two more bodies found at blizzard-hit site; death toll reaches 43

Two more bodies killed from last week’s blizzards have been found at Thorang Pass along the Annapurna circuit on Tuesday.

Both of the deceased are Nepalis. Their complete identity, however, is not ascertained yet, said Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya, West Regional Administrator.

The bodies have been taken to Jomsom, Mustang district headquarters.

With this finding, at least 43 people have died in blizzards and avalanches in Annapurna region in last one week.
