Two found swine flu positive in Pokhara

POKHARA: Two persons—a 21-year-old youth and an 11-year-old boy— have been found to be infected with swine flu virus in Pokhara.

Though the cases had to be kept in isolation in health facilities, they have been sent to their homes by the Western Regional Hospital.

Throat swab samples of the duo were found to be positive to the H1N1 virus test at the Western Regional Laboratory.

Their blood samples have been sent to Kathmandu for further test, according to the District Health Officer Bal Krishna Bhusal.
