The Tribhuvan University (TU) is all set to hold the Bachelor level third year exams starting June 14.
A meeting of TU Exam Controller’s Office on Tuesday made the decision to this effect.
“We have decided to conduct the exam from mid June as our yearly calendar will be affected if the exam is delayed by a single day,” said TU Exam Controller Keshav Bastola.
Around 200,000 students from the faculty of Education, Management, Humanities, Science and Law will be sitting for the Bachelor level third year exam.
Many college buildings have been damaged by the Great Earthquake of April 25 and its aftershocks. The TU has directed its affiliated campuses to use only the safe buildings as exam centers.
Earlier, the TU had to cancel the exams of LLM second year, fifth semester of BALLB and 10-month long psychology counseling that were supposed to be held by mid May because of the devastating earthquake. The oldest government university has also decided to hold the cancelled exams immediately. The exam routine will be made public on Tuesday.
