At least three people have been injured when a passenger jeep met with an accident at Sittalpati in SIndhuli district on Friday.
The ill fated jeep, Na 1 Ja 5085, of Himganga Yatayat Sewa, en route to Shivalaya, Ramechhap from Kathmandu, was over-speeding when it slipped off the road and overturned before ending up in a nearby drainage, informed police.
The injured have been identified as Sobit Kumari Sunuwar, 55, of Kuvukasthali-6, Ramechhap, Bindusni Bhujel, 85, of Betali-5. The identity of another victim is yet to be ascertained.
The injured are receiving medical attention at Manthali-based Tamakoshi Cooperative Hospital. Their condition is said to be normal.
Earlier, on Thursday, a jeep of the same transport company met with an accident at Masantar in Ramechhap that claimed the life of one passenger leaving three others injured.
