Strike partially affects life in capital city

The normal life in the capital city has been affected due to a general shutdown imposed by the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) on Sunday.

The NEFIN enforced the strike demanding to delineate the federal states based on identity, formation of the Janajati commission in the new constitution among other demands.

Meanwhile, Nepali Police said that 18 strike enforces were arrested from the capital city this morning. Of them, 15 were held from Balaju. Similarly, police held the NEFIN activists from Chabahil and Talsikhel as well.
