The meeting of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-ML, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Rastriya Janamorcha Nepal among other parties has decided take the constitution drafting process along with dialogue and effort for a consensus with opposition parties.
The meeting held at Prime Minister´s official residence at Baluwatar this afternoon decided to go ahead with the process as well as with consensus, NC vice-president Ramchandra Poudel said.
He urged opposition political parties to participate in the recently formed questionnaire formation committee.
Similarly, the meeting decided to appeal to the opposition party alliance to focus on the constitution drafting process by respecting the democratic norms and process.
Rastriya Janamorcha chair Chitra Bahadur KC said that the meeting centered on drafting the new constitution on the basis of a consensus as far as possible. RSS
