A 55-year-old woman was robbed of a gold necklace in Old Baneshwor Height of the Capital on Wednesday evening.
Police said two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons snatched the necklace weighing around 3 tola from the neck of Urmila Basnet from PipalBot Marga, KMC-10.
The incident occurred at around 7:25 pm yesterday, police said.
The Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor has deployed a team to investigate into the case and nab the chain snatchers.
