Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has said that he was ready to make any sacrifice in order to promulgate the new constitution.
Talking to civil society leaders at his office in Singha Durbar on Thursday, he also expressed the commitment to prepare an atmosphere conducive to a dialogue for a consensus among the political parties. The Prime Minister also expressed the confidence that the state of void in dialogue among the parties would end soon, according to civil society leader Bhojraj Pokharel.
Mr Pokharel, a former Chief Election Commissioner, said they met the Prime Minister to urge him to help build atmosphere for dialogue and talks among the parties. Civil society leaders including Pokharel are meeting all the major political party leaders urging them to resume dialogue, as it is the only best option left to break the existing deadlock. RSS
