The impact was higher in the Valley and some hill districts in the central region while some places in eastern and western Nepal received light rain s.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Kathmandu received 27 millimetres of rain on Thursday while rain fall was recorded also in Dadeldhura, Dipayal, Okhaldhunga, Jiri and Lumle.
“Kathmandu is likely to receive brief to heavy thundershowers in the afternoons until Saturday,” said Shrestha.
