The agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) on Saturday claimed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s state visit to India was completely unsuccessful.
The UDMF held a meeting at the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal office on Saturday morning to review the protest programmes and said that the Prime Minister did a mistake that he went to India without taking any agenda.
During the meeting, leaders accused the government of not being serious towards the demands raised by the Front.
Leaders said that they would not sit for talks until the government come up with concrete road map to address the Front’s demands.
The meeting has also decided to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister to address the 11-point demands put forth by the Front at the earliest.
One of the leaders, who attended the meeting, said that the form of protest has been changed at present, and warned that the Front would resort to stern protest if the government did not address its demands promptly.
