NSU demands to waive two months’ fee

Nepal Students Union (NSU) has demanded to exempt the fee for two months (Baisakh and Jestha) in all educational institutions in the quake affected districts.

The NSU organized a press conference in the capital today and demanded to start the reconstruction and repair of the damaged schools and colleges immediately to create environment for study.

The NSU, a sister organization of the Nepali Congress, suggested to monitor the market to control black market, price hike, and rent hike, among others.

NSU President Ranjeet Karna said the state should provide free education to the orphan children with food and shelter for the time being while job to at least one person from the earthquake victims’ family. RSS
