Non Resident Nepali Association, (NRN) has raised a huge fund at Frankfurt in Germany for the construction of its central office building in Kathmandu.
At the initiation of NRN Germany Chapter, as much as Rs 4.6 million was collected until December 27, said NRN International Coordination Council (ICC) Spokesman Mana KC.
The fund has been raised to build the central office of NRN in Kathmandu, said Harendra Wanem, NRN president, Germany Chapter.
At a program chaired by NRN ICC President Shesh Ghale in Germany, the participants had voluntarily announced the financial assistance.
Also participating in the program were NRN ICC General Secretary Kumar Panta, NRN ICC Advisor Dil Bahadur Gurung, NRNA Building Construction Europe Coordinator Janaki Gurung, among others.
The Central Office of NRN will be constructed in Kathmandu at the cost around Rs 150 million. The additional fund will be raised from the countries including Hong Kong, USA, Thailand, and Australia.
