Power supply lines snapped and utility poles collapsed in a windstorm in northern Bhojpur on Saturday, keeping various villages in the dark for last three days.
Most of the government offices, banks and mills have stopped their services due to the obstruction in electricity supply.
Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Bhojpur distribution centre, however, claimed that the NEA has already started the process for maintenance.
Different crops and 40 houses in the district were destroyed in the strong storm, informed District Police Office of Bhojpur.
Roofs of many temporary houses built by earthquake survivors were blown off by the storm, adding woes to the already miserable life.
