CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal, has said that the new constitution would be promulgated within three months through consensus.
At a programme organised by the Ministry of Industry in the Capital on Friday, leader Khanal said, “Consensus has not yet been forged on the issue of federalism in course of constitution writing. It will be promulgated within three months after forging consensus on it.”
Accusing the UCPN (Maoist) and Madhes-based political parties for trying to quit the Constituent Assembly (CA), he said initiatives were underway to bring them to CA.
The former Prime Minister expressed the view that the new constitution was indispensible to institutionalise the achievements gained at different periods. RSS
