The Nepali national football team will play a friendly match against India on August 31 as part of their preparations for the Saff Championship to be held in India.
All India Football Federation, in its website, informed that Nepal had accpeted the proposal from the Indian side for a friendly match between the two sides. Sources said that the match will be played under lights in Pune.
The friendly will be the first match under the newly-appointed coach Dhurba Bahadur KC. KC was handed a one-year contract by Anfa on July 17 following the departure of Jack Stefanowski.
The national team has already begun their preparations for the match.
