Nepal Police opens bus service for Dashain travellers in Valley

Nepal Police has started free bus service for members of the public along different routes during the Dashain festival from Friday.

Keeping in mind the decreasing number of public vehicles, Nepal Police has operated buses on three routes for the public to travel easily during the festival.

The bus (Ba 1 Ga 2591) departs from Naxal towards Putalisadak, Maitighar, Kupondol, Jawalakhel, Ekantakuna, Balkhu, Kalanki, Kalimati, Tripureshor, Sahidgate, Jamal, Durbarmarg and finally reaches Naxal.

Second bus (Ba 1 Ga 2474) travels along the Naxal-Ratopul-Gaushala-Koteshor-Tinkune-Babarmahal-Maitighar-Tripureshor-Jamal-Lainchaur-Lajimpat-Narayan Gopal Chok-Baluwatar-Naxal route.

While the third bus (Ba 1 Ga 2608) travels along the Naxal-Jaya Nepal-Lainchaur-Sorhakhutte-Balaju-Naya Buspark-Tilangetar-Narayan Gopal Chok-Sukedhara-Chabahil, Gaushala-Ratopul-Naxal route.

The buses run every morning from 10 am and 7 pm around Kathmandu, until the end of the festival, October 15.

Nepal Army had also announced to operate free bus services on eight different routes from October 10 to 12.
