Nepal added six silver medals in wushu in the 12th South Asian Games on Wednesday.
Nepal’s wushuka Sabita Rai, Jharana Gurung, Juni Rai, Bindu Pun Magar, Hari Prasad Gole and Rajesh Chaudhary were vying for the gold medal in their respective events today. But all of them were defeated by their rivals.
All events of wushu in the 12th SAG concluded today.
Nepal have so far won 24 medals, including one gold, seven silver and 16 bronze.
Nepal collected one gold medal by Nima Gharti Magar and 10 silver medals in wushu in the regional sports gala being held in Guwahati and Shillong of India.
Yesterday, Bishow Budha Magar had added one silver medal in Nepal’s kitty.
Wushukas Bijay Sinjali and Sushmita Tamang won two silvers on Sunday before Yubaraj Thapa added another on Monday.
