Respoinding to the main opposition UCPN-Maoist’s request, Nembang had put off the CA meeting for an indefinite period of time after the CA endorsed the Proposal Drafting Committee’s report, which included 232 questions, making the document the CA’s property and clearing the way to begin the process of settling the disputed issues through vote.

Issuing a statement today, General Secretary of Constituent Assembly Manohar Prasad Bhattarai informed that the CA meeting has been scheduled for 1 p.m.

The parties, however, have not been able to make any concrete decisions yet though the deadline offered by the CA chairman to resolve their issues already ended.

They were engaged in bilateral and multilateral talks today also.
