NEA Employees Union demand feasibility study on Dudhkoshi, Upper Arun, Tamaskohi V

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Employees’ Union has demanded that an immediate feasibility study is conducted for Dudhkoshi, Upper Arun and Tamaskohi-V hydropower projects.

Submitting a memorandum to NEA Executive Director, the Union said a feasibility study was essential to ensure unconditional capital while bringing in foreign investment.

It also drew the Authority’s attention to mange electricity tariff every year based on dearness index of Nepal Rastra Bank, to end the culture of making power trade agreement (PTA) without managing the transmission line, to form an independent administrative reform commission for the managerial and administrative reforms in the Authority.
