NA organising Women’s Intl Football

Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Gaurav Shumsher Rana will inaugurate the 2nd CoAS International Women’s Football Competition on Monday at Nepal Army (NA) headquarters in Bhadrakali.

A total of 10 teams including two from India and each from from Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and five development regions of Nepal will participate in the competition.

The competition will be played till the 20th October 2014 where each team will have to knock its opponent out in order to advance in the game, said NA Directorate of Public Relations in a statement today.

Bimala Tamang who won a bronze medal for the nation in the 17th Asian Games will also be honoured on the inaugural day of the competition.
