The Nepal Army (NA) said it is continuing operations to rescue trekkers stuck in blizzard in Mustang district.
Issuing a press release, the NA Directorate of Public Relations said the Alpine Rescue Team on Friday rescued 39 trekkers, including Nepalis and foreigners, alive from Thorang Pass area of the district.
Of them, six were in critical condition, and they were immediately airlifted to Muktinath, according to NA.
Today, the rescue team recovered two bodies buried under snow and are recovering two more in the area.
Meanwhile, NA brought seven dead bodies to Kathmandu today.
NA said it will continue the rescue efforts tomorrow also.
