Hundreds of birds die mysteriously in Mahottari

A flock of around 100 birds has been found dead in mysterious circumstances on Thursday in Jaleshwar, the district headquarters of Mahottari.

According to Ranjan Mandal, a local, birds as sparrows, herons, mynahs and the like have been found dead in the premises of the National Primary School at Bajarahi, Jaleshower-7.

Mandal further said that the locals are in awe following the death of a large number of birds. They are nervous to take their cattle for grazing in the area where the birds were found dead, he said.

The reason of the birds´ death is yet not ascertained. RSS
