The weather across the country which had been affected by the cyclonic system that developed over the Bay of Bengal in the last few days has improved from yesterday.
The cyclone Hudhud that made its way towards the eastern coast of India and then north-westwards towards Nepal brought rainfall throughout the country on Monday and Tuesday.
Meteorologist Barun Paudel said the effect of the cyclone has ended and the weather has fully improved since the noon yesterday.
He said although the weather in some of the mountainous regions of the Far-West part of the country remained partly cloudy today, the weather will improve.
According to Paudel, cold will increase in Kathmandu Valley and Surkhet Valley as well as other places as cold season has started and the two days of rainfall has brought down the temperature.
The maximum temperature in Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday was 24 degree Celsius, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
