Hollywood actor and martial arts expert Jackie Chan landed in Kathmandu on Tuesday to take part in an earthquake relief distribution programme.
Chan arrived on a China Air flight at 11:27 this morning and will distribute relief materials to the earthquake victims in Lalitpur. The distribution programme is being organised by International Red Cross Society. A Chinese Red Cross team also landed with the actor at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Nepal Red Cross communication chief Divya Raj Poudel informed that actor Chan will distribute relief materials to physically disabled people sheltering at a camp in Lalitpur. He will also distribute relief at Chyasal and Sanagaun in Lalitpur.
The 61-year-old actor will return to Hong Kong today itself after completing the programme.
