Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Yeoh is here to participate in the Asian Regional Sports Congress organised by Federation of International Automobile (FIA) under the United Nations. She is also the ambassador for Global Road Safety for the FIA.
Vice President Paramananda Jha will be inaugurating the conference in the Capital today.
Yeoh is best known for performing her own stunts in the Hong Kong action films that brought her to fame in the early 1990s. She portrayed Aung San Suu Kyi in Luc Besson’s The Lady for which Yeoh was allegedly deported from Burma on June 22, 2011.
