A Cabinet meeting decided to provide Rs. 15,000 each to the families of the Great Quake whose houses were destroyed in the Great Quake to build their temporary settlement.
The meeting took the decision after concerns about delay in the distribution of zinc sheets through government bodies.
“Cards will be distributed to identify the victims and based on it cash will be handed over to them for their temporary settlements,” said Minister for General Administration Lal Babu Pandit to eKantipur.
The meeting decided to coordinate to prevent any shortage of zinc sheets as its demand in the country is expected to swell.
