The government has decided to honour former national taekwondo athlete Sangina Baidya with a cash award of Rs. 1.5 million.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday decided to honour Baidya in recognition of her contribution to the development of taekwondo sport in the country, said Government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Minendra Rijal.
The Cabinet also decided to direct the Ministry of Industry to determine the price of sugarcane.
Likewise, the Cabinet decided to appoint Yamaraj Pandey the Executive Director of Nepal Agriculture Research Council.
