Fuel prices slightly slashed

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Monday slashed prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene.

Under the automatic price adjustment system, the government-owned fuel monopoly reduced the price of petrol by Rs 2.5 per litre and of diesel and kerosene by Rs 1.5 per litre.

According to new tariff, a litre of petrol costs Rs 109 whereas a litre of kerosene and diesel cost Rs 86.50 each.

No change is made in prices of liquified petroleum (cooking) gas and aviation fuel, according to NOC.
