Flights resume at Jufal Airport

Flights to and from Jufal Airport in Dolpa district, which was closed indefinitely since a week owing to thick smog, has resumed from Wednesday.

The thick smog had blanketed Dolpa, including the airport here, since the last week of April, leading to the decrease in the visibility for landing and takeoff.

Airplane is the only means of transport to the remote district.

With the resumption of the flight service, two private airlines-Tara Air and Air Kasthamandap – flew to Dolpa today. RSS
