Earthquake hits west Nepal

A moderate earthquake hit western Nepal at 7:44 pm on Saturday evening sending people out of home for safety.

According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the quake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located 10 kilometers NE of Pokhara in Kaski district. Tremors were felt in adjoining districts too.

No casualty or damage has been reported yet.
