The Airlines Operator Association of Nepal (AOAN) is planning to decrease domestic airfare from Thursday.
The fare is being reduced after the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) slashed the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) on Tuesday.
NOC management had decreased the price of ATF for domestic airlines by Rs 55.8 per liter to Rs 109.
“A technical team will decide on new fare for internal destinations,” said AOAN Chairman Pabitra Kumar Karki, “We have devised a formula to adjust the fare and it will be adjusted accordingly.”
He told Republica said that AOAN will send the revised rate to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) by this evening for approval.
