Federal Limbuwan Party-Nepal Chairman Kumar Lingden has demanded that the nine districts East of the Arun river should be declared as Limbuwan state by keeping the national unity of Nepal intact.
Speaking at a programme ‘ Limbuwan Bahas’ organised by the party at Dhankuta on Monday, Chairman Lingden said that the party would intensify their ideological movement in a peaceful manner in order to achieve the Limbuwan state. “Creating positive opinions among the people, we will fight a victorious fight till the end,” said Lingden.
Chairman Lingden said the ruling parties—Nepali Congress and CPN-UML—are in favour of rejecting the autonomous states along with historical background. He accused the ruling parties of wearing the mask of unity to deceive the people.
The Federal Limbuwan Party was formed after five organisations advocating for a Limbuwan state unified.
