A grand cleanliness campaign began at the premises of Pashupatinath Temple in Gaushala on Saturday morning.
Minister for Information and Communications Minendra Rijal used a broom to clean the main gate of the Hindu temple to begin the campaign.
Speaking after initiating the campaign organized by Gandhi International Mission Nepal with support of Lions Club International, Minister Rijal lauded the initiative and stressed on the need of giving it continuity.
The Mission leader Sushil Agrawal said his organization is organizing cleaning up of various temples and shrines in the capital since the past six months, in collaboration with various civil society organizations.
School students as well as members of the general public and the organizers took part in the cleaning campaign of Pashupatinath temple today. RSS
