Chinese tourists stranded in National Park rescued

Two Chinese tourists stranded in the Chitwan national park on Friday night were rescued from the place near Sauraha.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the Chinese tourists made a call for rescue after they failed to trace the way to get out of the national park in the night. A team of Nepal army and Nepal police rescued them from two kilometer north of the elephant breeding centre inside the park.

They had climbed a tree to save themselves from wild animals.

It took almost three hours to search for them in the night, added the police.
