China hands over equipments to Civil Service Hospital

The Chinese Government has handed over additional equipments to the Civil Service Hospital at Min Bhawan in Kathmandu.

At an event organised at the hospital on Friday, December 26, 2014, visiting Chinese Minister for Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi handed over appliances worth 200 million rupees to the hospital which was built with the help of aid provided by the Chinese government.

Around two dozen medical equipments including MRI, CT-Scan and X-Ray machines were provided to the hospital.

General Administration Minister Lal Babu Pandit was present at the event.

The hospital with 132-bed capacity has been providing service since 2010.

Currently, the hospital provides service to more than 700 patients per day.
