The government is preparing to present the budget for upcoming fiscal year in the legislature parliament on Tuesday.
Though the government was working for the presentation on Wednesday the date was preponed for a day owing to the busy schedule of the lawmakers. The lawmakers are scheduled to go to their respective constituencies to collect the suggestions on the preliminary draft of the constitution.
Finance Secretary Suman Sharma confirmed that that the budget will be presented by Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat on the day.
Speaker of the Legislature-Parliament Subash Nembang had been urging the government to present the budget at the earliest date possible so that lawmaker can leave the valley and head towards their respective constituencies soon.
According to Nembang the lawmakers will be going for collecting suggestions on the statute draft on July 17 after endorsing the advanced budget . The discussions over the budget however, will be started after they return from their constituencies.
The CA has directed the Committee on Citizen Relation and Public Opinion Collection to submit the compiled report of suggestions on July 23.
