Black flags greet RPP-N’s chariot procession

The closing ceremony of the Mechi-Mahakali Chariot Procession of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) was greeted with black flags here in capital on Friday.

The dissenting faction of the RPP-N Purification Campaign—greeted party chairman Kamal Thapa accusing him of making commercialization of religion.

Coordinator of the RPP-N Purification Campaign, Sagun Lawati said that they carried out the program protesting Thapa’s wrong practice.

The campaign had also burnt down Thapa’s effigy in different parts of country. They had also burnt the effigy at Bhaktapur on Thursday.

RPP-N had organized the chariot procession in a bid to exert pressure for the reinstatement of Nepal as Hindu State in various places of the country.

The chariot procession which started from Jhapa district has ended with a mass rally and mass assembly held in capital today.
