Normal life in Bara and Parsa districts has been affected while business and trade activities have gone down due to soaring heat in the last week.
Heat wave in the daytime has affected the normal life bringing to a grinding halt. On Monday, the temperature was recorded at 42 degree Celsius.
Likewise, number of patients in the hospital has gone up due to excessive heat. Dermatologist at the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital Atulesh Kumar Chaurasiya said that number of patients suffering from skin related problems has rapidly increased in the hospital. The arrival of patients has increased by more than two fold.
Doctors have suggested the folks to eat water-containing foods and drink plenty of water as well as maintain hygiene to protect themselves in the time of excessive heat.
The business has been affected as customers have not visited the market, Maisthan-based businessperson Dipak Saraf said. RSS
