Araniko Highway fully resumes after Acrow bridge installed

Vehicular movements have resumed along the landslide-blocked Araniko Highway in a full swing from Sunday after Nepal Army (NA) installed an Acrow bridge over the Sunkoshi River.

The bridge links the blocked road section with an alternative track from Khadichaur to Sunkoshi, constructed some weeks ago.

The bridge also connects Dhuskun and Barhabise VDCs of Sindhupalchok district.

According to the NA technicians, the 120-feet high and 5.5-metre wide bridge has a capacity of maximum 30 ton.

NA had started the installation project on September 17.
