All flights at Simara Airport cancelled due to fog

All flights to and from the Simara Airport in Bara district have been cancelled due to dense fog today.

The Buddha Air cancelled its seven flights due to the low visibility caused by the thick fog since the morning, Pravez Siddiqui, the Chief of the Simara Airport, said.

The passengers who had come from Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Makwanpur and bordering areas in India for travelling to Kathmandu had to return home due to the cancellation of flights owing to bad weather.
