46 Nepali held in Malaysia

Malaysian government arrested 46 Nepali workers during a crackdown on illegal migrant workers residing in the country.

They were arrested from various places of the historic Malaysian town of Malacca, a news agency reported quoting Malaysian immigration officials.

They were held during a crackdown as part of the Malaysian government’s drive to arrest and deport illegal immigrants. Of those arrested, 46 are Nepali, 10 Pakistani, 20 Bangladeshi, 12 Indonesian, 21Burmese and one each Indian and Vietnamese.
