Thirty-Two Nepali migrant workers have been arrested in Malaysia for living without any valid documents.
Fifty-four migrant workers including 32 Nepali citizens were arrested by the Malaysian Immigration Department during a raid on Monday. Immigration officials had raided a glove-manufacturing company in Kedah and made the arrest.
Fifteen Bangladeshi, two Indonesians and one each from China, Myanmar and France were among the arrestee.
Malaysian news agency Bernama has stated that they had violated the country’s immigration act by staying in the country without any valid documents.
