As many as 300 people who had gone to the northern part of Dolakha to pick Yarsagumba have been out of contact. They had gone to the high mountains on Saturday before earthquake hit the area.
Chief District Officer Premlal Chaulagain has informed that three days have passed since the 300 Yarsagumba pickers have been out of contact. No action has yet been taken to find the missing.
Fourty-seven people have lost their lives in Dolakha due to the earthquake. Most of houses in the rural areas have been destroyed. Due to the landslide following the earthquake in Lamabagar Khopachagu area it has been believed that a massive destruction has taken place.
Locals have reported that many dead bodies have been found at Tamakoshi bank above Lamabagar.
