19yo boy swamped‚ killed in Seti River

POKHARA: A 19-year-old boy died after being swamped away by the Seti River in Kaski on Wednesday.

Birendra Chaudhary, a labourer at the Strong Aggregate, Majhuwa of the district, was swamped by the river while he was connecting the water motor in the river at around 2 pm today, police said.

Chaudhary hailed from Ratnapur of Kailali district.

His body was recovered from Chuhine Mudha of Tanahun district around 30 minutes after the incident.

Police has brought the body to the West Regional Hospital for postmortem.
