“Immersive Bootcamp: Reading, Writing and Pedagogy” is an intensive short-term course designed for college students and graduates interested in facilitating literacy and arts workshops with students, youth groups, teachers and adults inside and outside classroom settings. The course will engage participants in readings and discussions related to different pedagogical ideas, theories and methodologies. Additionally, participants will read and write stories and work together in small groups.
Participants are expected to come to each class having completed the assignments and prepared to share and discuss them. The course is tailored to develop each participant’s reading, writing, critical thinking and communication skills.

This course will be taught by Niranjan Kunwar, a writer and educator based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has previously taught elementary school in New York City for the past few years. These days, he works with different groups of teachers i
