People often think that being creative is an in-born trait and label artists, designers and architects as the creative type. But creativity is a way of thinking and it can be an acquired skill. This class is a simple 2-hour session where we practice a few exercises that help us think differently.
The students will be involved in 3-4 exercises that subconsciously opens up their minds to look beyond the obvious.
By the end of this course, the students will be aware of linear thinking tendencies and learn various creative thinking techniques that help them think laterally instead. The students will also briefly learn creative thinking as a design and problem solving process.
This class is for students over the age of 16 who want to break away from linear thinking habits that have been built through the iron gate system. It is also for non-creative professionals who want to challenge the monotony of 9 to 5 jobs.
This is a single session crash course.
